Overview
The Operation Associate - Fill / Finish will report to an Associate Director in Manufacturing. They will be responsible for implementing and monitoring PFS-11 projects in the manufacturing process, providing leadership for the area process team, and coordinating improvements, change controls, and projects across operations and multiple support groups. They may assist in supervisory coverage in the absence of the Associate Director.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment, lead safety initiatives, and support all HSE Corporate and Site Goals
- Develop and monitor metrics
- Provide education on concepts
- Drive projects for improvement
- Lead the PFS-11 process improvements for the process team
- Lead Process Team and CAPA-driven projects as generated
- Investigate problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement countermeasures
- Back up Leader and Team Leader as needed
- Lead specific functions of the process team
- Use data to influence change and improvement
- Ensure safety practices, policies, and rules are followed; complete safety audits
- Actively participate in safety improvements and incident reduction
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a science-based field
- Experience: 2 to 5 years Parenteral Operations experience or support
Additional Preferences
- Deviation, CAPA, investigation experience
- Previous leadership / supervisory experience helpful
- Career interests in operations leadership
Other Information
- The position is for 2nd shift; start/stop times are somewhat flexible for potential 24/7 contact
- Must be flexible to attend meetings or support off-shifts as necessary
