Night Shift Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Technician for a company based in the Hutchins area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform repair, preventative and scheduled maintenance tasks on all processing equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems.

Pay Rate
$25.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday to Friday
6pm to 6am with a lot of overtime.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English Language.
• Physical demands: Must be able to lift 55 to 100 lbs.
• Perform repair, maintenance, and preventative maintenance on processing equipment, including lubrication, inspection, and adjustment.
• Complete maintenance reports in detail and as instructed.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, read and interpret electrical diagrams.
• Operate power-driven machinery such as forklifts.
• Diagnose equipment issues, develop action plans, and respond promptly to unplanned operational maintenance.
• Provide guidance and lead by example, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and consistent use of all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to perform assigned work task with little or no supervision.

Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements

• Wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Must be familiar with LOTO practices
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
