Join Our Team as a Night Shift Maintenance Technician!

Responsibilities:

• Operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain machinery by cleaning and lubricating components including shafts, bearings, and gears.
• Troubleshoot and repair various equipment such as slitters, collectors, high-speed welders, conveyors, and palletizers.
• Install and maintain piping systems as well as hydraulic and pneumatic machinery.
• Replace and repair gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other equipment as needed.
• Perform building maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing and welding.
• Address electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Utilize our CMMS system effectively to log labor and parts usage as required.
• Be open to working overtime, including weekends and off-shift hours, as necessary.
• Participate in the on-call program and may be required to work additional hours on call.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, understanding the importance of PPE and quality standards.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree in a maintenance-related field preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a metal manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 standards for metals manufacturing is a plus.
• Experience with PLC systems is preferred.
• Proficient in various welding techniques, cutting methods, and the use of machine and hand tools.
• Background in high-speed packaging and mechanical power transmission preferred.

Work Environment:

The role requires frequent walking, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. The environment may include exposure to mechanical parts and potentially irritating materials. Hearing protection is required due to noise levels, and adherence to safety protocols is essential.
