Purpose
Produce materials from the Plastics Recycling operations. Produce a quality product while working in a safe manner.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below.
1. General Policy
a) Load bales of material onto conveying system.
b) Operate extruders, material transfer equipment, and wash-line processes.
c) Follow all company procedures as well as written and verbal instructions.
d) Fill out daily shift paperwork, information boards and logbooks.
e) Compliance with manufacturing process instructions and Work Package Instructions.
f) Move and load Raw and Finished Goods as required.
g) Inspects, cleans, and performs assigned basic preventative maintenance on process equipment.
h) Report and assist as needed all equipment status changes to Maintenance & Supervision
i) Preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out tag-out.
j) Ensures that waste is appropriately characterized, documented, labeled, stored and disposed in compliance with all Company, state and federal regulations.
k) Keep a clean and safe work area.
l) Follow all Quality, Safety and Environmental Procedures.
m) Sample collection for Quality analysis
n) Execute priorities and prep for changeovers with other technicians, group leads, and shift supervisors
o) Uphold the Blue Polymers Code of Conduct standards.
p) Other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Production Manager.
Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
1. Education:
a. Must have High School diploma or of equivalent value.
2. Experience:
a. Must have high school education or equivalent.
b. Ability to read, speak and write English efficiently preferred.
c. Required to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedures.
d. Required to work comfortably with basic math skills.
e. Able to follow work procedures and pay close attention to detail.
f. Ability to operate a fork truck.
g. Must be able to effectively use computer systems for operational reporting.
Competencies; Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA)
To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. The requirements

1. Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
2. All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Manager/HR immediately.
3. Must be able to comply with all uniform and PPE requirements.
4. Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel, Word
Work Environment / Conditions
The work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore must be
adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office. Schedules may vary from week to week based
on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.

5. Should be able to enter confined spaces such as tanks, pits, and vessels
6. Must have color vision.
7. Ability to properly wear assigned protective equipment for all required processes.
