Overview
Intown Suites is seeking a housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and common areas, ensure cleanliness and presentation, and provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain guest room cleanliness, including cleaning bathrooms/kitchens, floors (vacuuming or washing), removing trash, and dusting/polishing furnishings.
- Maintain outside room appearance, including cleaning sliding doors, A/C grills, doors, windows, and removing trash from surrounding outside areas.
- Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards, even if a specific area is not assigned to you.
- Visually inspect guest rooms, public areas, and service areas for quality in cleanliness and presentation.
- Notify supervisor immediately of any safety or security violations or guest concerns.
- Operate housekeeping equipment and restock supplies to keep the cart ready.
- Notify head housekeeper or supervisor of room readiness.
- Maintain superior customer service when interacting with guests.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience with knowledge of standard operating procedures and techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.
- Onboarding support through easy-to-follow training programs and a supportive team.

- Sundays off and no late shifts; full and part-time positions available.
Mental and Physical Demands
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Indoor work with hard and carpeted surfaces; exposure to extreme weather conditions, cold and heat.
