Salary: USD $20.00 - USD $22.06 /Hr.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas and equipment to ensure compliance with mandated regulatory agencies and established Hazelden policies and procedures.
- Provide a safe care environment for patients and staff (visitors as appropriate to setting) by applying cleaning, disinfection and quality assurance principles to reduce harmful pathogens.
- Interacts with patients and visitors as appropriate; education and safety information should be tailored to the demographics of patients served.
- Ensure timely room turns related to patient throughput within environmental hygiene and infection prevention standards.
- Collaborate with unit staff to provide a supportive environment and contribute to patient experience.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days. Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
- Must satisfactorily pass a state/license specific background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST).
- 1 year of health care environmental services experience.
