Solera’s Core Values: Compassion, Commitment, Communication, Creativity. We’re looking for a dedicated housekeeping attendant to perform essential housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents.

Essential functions, duties, and responsibilities

  1. Perform weekly cleaning functions as directed by supervisor.
  2. Remove soiled bed and bath linens and replace with fresh linens (where applicable).
  3. Clean phones, bathrooms and kitchen areas.
  4. Clean outside of refrigerator, dust furniture and lamps.
  5. Clean woodwork as needed.
  6. Vacuum carpets and sweep as needed.
  7. Perform 30 - 60-day cleaning (where applicable).
  8. Defrost refrigerator.
  9. Vacuum under beds.
  10. Turn mattresses (where applicable).
  11. Biannually wash windows inside and out.
  12. Vacuum and dust hallways.
  13. Clean fingerprints from windows, doors, mirrors and fixtures as needed.
  14. Clean common areas as needed.
  15. Clean resident rooms and bathrooms as scheduled.
  16. Complete maintenance slips and submit.
  17. Mop stairways as required (where applicable).
  18. Clean trash area.
  19. Polish and clean trash / linen chutes (where applicable).
  20. Launder all linens (where applicable).
  21. Accomplish all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
  22. Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper order.
  23. Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner, which promotes a positive marketing environment.
  24. Support creating a culture where business decisions in this position, along with individual team member engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
  25. Practice excellent customer service in all interactions with residents, fellow team members, and guests.
  26. Observe and abide by all regulations to protect personal health information during collection, use, disclosure, storage, and destruction; ensure only minimum information is known to perform the role.
  27. Assure resident safety.
  28. Maintain all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
  29. Offer improvements and suggestions as appropriate.
  30. Maintain confidentiality of resident and community information.
  31. Assist new team members in following established community policies and procedures.
  32. Complete assignments timely, completely and accurately.
  33. Attend all in-services as assigned or requested.
  34. Participate in interdisciplinary team and other community meetings as assigned or requested.
  35. Cooperate with residents, co-workers, physicians, families, consultant personnel and other providers.
  36. Observe all community safety policies and procedures.
  37. Be observant of safety hazards and emergency situations; report or take corrective action as per procedures.
  38. Present a clean, neat uniform and professional appearance.
  39. Come to work as scheduled, demonstrating dependability and punctuality; comply with attendance policy.
  40. Maintain accountability for data contained in the team member handbook.
  41. Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and other regulations within scope of control and awareness.
  42. Observe infection control procedures.
  43. Follow Residents’ Rights policies and all community policies and procedures.
  44. Accept assigned duties, instructions, or corrections in a cooperative manner and voice concerns professionally.
  45. Perform incidental housekeeping and maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.
  46. Perform all other related duties as assigned in an effective, timely, and professional manner.
