Overview

We are currently seeking a caring and dynamic Housekeeping Attendant who will make a direct, positive impact on the lives of our patients and direct care staff daily. This role is in a skilled nursing environment where you will help residents regain quality of life. This position is part-time and located in Denver, CO.

Base pay range: $18.00/hr - $22.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day activities of the housekeeping and maintenance department in accordance with current Federal, State, and Local standards, guidelines and regulations, as directed by the Administrator and/or supervisor.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by performing general housekeeping/cleaning duties in various areas of the facility.
• Follows work assignments and cleaning schedules, including cleaning offices, restrooms, activity rooms, kitchens, entrance and exit areas, utility spaces, lounges, lobbies, halls, and other areas as assigned.
• Checks and replaces light bulbs, cleans lint from dryers, vents and registers, and keeps grounds clear of debris; cleans outside areas and windows as assigned.
• Disinfects fixtures, floors, walls, doors, ceilings, and other surfaces; cleans furnishings and fixtures and replenishes supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency preferred.
• One year of work experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping procedures.
