Opening in Fall 2025, Omni Fort Lauderdale will provide South Florida with 120,000 square feet of event space, new food and beverage options, a Natural Spring inspired full-service spa, and an entertainment pedestrian plaza featuring high-end shopping, an amphitheater, charter boat docking, and a beautiful promenade. The hotel will offer unforgettable views of the Atlantic, paired with unrivaled convenience and intelligently designed meeting spaces. It will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal, and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.
The Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story property located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, offering 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. It will also feature over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms, and pre-function meeting areas with waterfront views.
Position Overview
Partner with the Director of HR in a leadership role supporting financial objectives, guest service, and company culture through strategic planning and organizational development. The role involves managing all Housekeeping and Laundry functions, participating in quality assurance, and ensuring Omni standards are met by monitoring quality and setting a good example.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous, personalized, attentive, and sincere guest service, responding promptly to inquiries, requests, and complaints, aiming to exceed guest expectations.
- Resolve guest issues effectively while maintaining good relationships and demonstrating hospitality.
- Maintain open communication with all departments and guests to ensure consistent service.
- Identify improvements to service efficiency and participate in the Omni Service Tradition program.
- Assist Housekeeping leadership with opening and evening shifts, inventory control, purchasing, guest requests, quality assurance, scheduling, and payroll.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper stock levels.
- Communicate with Front Desk and Engineering about maintenance issues.
- Inspect guestrooms and public spaces daily for cleanliness and service quality.
- Prepare reports such as VIP, Due-Out, V/D, etc.
- Oversee Housemen and ensure they perform their duties effectively.
- Manage Laundry Department functions.
- Participate in energy conservation efforts.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of hotel property and work areas.
- Reduce waste of supplies.
- Support the maintenance of Omni standards of cleanliness and guest experience.
- Motivate and train staff to strive for excellence in service and cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience in Housekeeping required.
- Experience in upscale, full-service hotels preferred.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, including inventory management, VIP services, safety, and health standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to delegate, train, develop, and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage quick turns, and handle high occupancy.
- Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking ability.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Environment & Position Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Work indoors and outdoors as needed.

- Desktop computer with various software (Perfect Room, Opera, Alice, etc.), printer, telephone, copier, fax, and radio dispatch.
