Overview

Bangs Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a Housekeeping Aide. This is a Full Time position.

Housekeeping Responsibilities

• All cleaning must be done according to sanitation procedures, safety precautions, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Clean the following areas: patient rooms, hallways, offices, family room, nurse’s stations, patios, main lobby, treatment rooms, laundry room and storage, employee break areas, physical therapy room, activity room, library, stairs, elevators, and entrances.
• Perform terminal cleaning procedures.
• Report all hazardous conditions and equipment to your supervisor.
• Report all accidents immediately.
• Maintain the care and use of supplies and equipment, and ensure the appearance of all areas; perform regular inspections of resident rooms for sanitation, order, safety, and proper performance of duties.
• Perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor.

Housekeeping Requirements

• Must complete orientation required by company policy.
• Must complete mandatory drug test upon hire.
• Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
• Must comply with all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Must show satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Housekeeper or similar role; experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.
