Responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining all common areas of the community in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, including corridors, common areas, service areas, restrooms, linen closets, etc. Recommending improvements to management as necessary.
2. Cleaning, detailing, and refilling supplies for all assigned areas, including common areas and offices.
3. Cleaning resident rooms, dining areas, and activity areas as assigned, including dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and eliminating odors.
4. Completing and implementing the Daily Routine for Housekeeper Staff each working day.
5. Maintaining records to document daily housekeeping activities, including maintenance, pests, and sanitation.
6. Ensuring compliance with health codes, sanitation regulations, state regulations, and company policies.
7. Assisting residents with daily living activities in a safe and caring manner, including ambulation, incontinent care, feeding, hygiene assistance, and safety measures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred), compassion, and a desire to serve the elderly.

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling
• Lifting at least 35 lbs, pushing up to 100 lbs, bending, reaching, turning for up to 12 hours
• Good vision and hearing, adequate speech

Mental Requirements:

• Ability to read and understand written instructions
• Effective verbal and written communication in English
• Ability to relate well with others and work positively in a team environment
