Responsibilities:

  1. Provide overall support to the operations of the housekeeping department.
  2. Inspect work performed to ensure it meets specifications and established standards.
  3. Investigate complaints about service and equipment, and take corrective action.
  4. Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities to determine the work required.
  5. Evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and dismissals.
  6. Recommend changes to improve service and increase operational efficiency.
  7. Confer with staff to resolve performance and personnel issues, and discuss company policies.
  8. Monitor and assess performance to make improvements or take corrective actions.
  9. Understand the implications of new information for current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  10. Communicate effectively with others.
  11. Perform all other duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by the manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Ability to lead others.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to move luggage, packages, or furniture weighing up to 30 lb.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
