The Jefferson Hotel is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Housekeeping Houseman to join our Housekeeping Department. This essential role supports the efficiency of our guest room cleaning operations and ensures public and guest areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate is hardworking, courteous, and committed to supporting a luxury-level guest experience.

Key Requirements
  • Availability: Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Must be flexible to work between 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM depending on business, with daily schedules subject to change.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50+ lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Teamwork: Must be collaborative and willing to support multiple areas within the hotel.
  • Guest Service: Must have a courteous and professional attitude when interacting with guests and team members.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Assist Room Attendants by stripping guest beds, emptying trash, and collecting used linens and terry.
  • Deliver linens, amenities, and housekeeping supplies to assigned floors and guest rooms.
  • Perform routine cleaning of guest hallways, storage closets, service areas stairwells, and elevators.
  • Assist with stocking housekeeping supplies and organizing storage areas on designated delivery days.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests for additional items or support, ensuring follow-through.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned public and back-of-house areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns to the appropriate departments.
  • Support special cleaning projects or emergency cleaning needs assigned by supervisors.
