Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school diploma preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in hospitality or service industry
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding the primary language(s) of the workplace
• Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Effective communication skills, including speaking before groups of employees or guests

Job Responsibilities:

• Complete in-room checklists for assigned rooms
• Report maintenance issues to the supervisor
• Clean guest rooms, public spaces, exteriors, and back of house daily
• Maintain inventory of linens, supplies, and amenities
• Report and address deficiencies in guest rooms or public areas
• Assist with projects like mattress rotation, window washing, deep cleaning
• Maintain positive relationships with employees and guests
• Communicate effectively between departments
• Promote guest recognition and knowledge of amenities
• Answer calls courteously and professionally
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards
• Follow safety and OSHA requirements, emergency procedures
• Attend relevant meetings
• Perform additional duties as needed, based on operational demands

Working Conditions:

• Moderate noise level typical of hotel settings
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds; over 50 pounds requires two persons
• Remain stationary or move about for up to 8 hours, performing physical tasks
