The Job

As Supervisor of the Housekeeping Department, you will work side by side with your team to meticulously maintain our suites and public areas to L’Auberge Del Mar standards. Your friendly, energetic, and professional personality will help ensure guests’ stays are memorable and team members are supported.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead and inspire a team that is the backbone of the hotel, supervise the Housekeeping staff, and work with the Housekeeping Management team to ensure standards are met and guests enjoy a clean, hazard-free stay. You will have the opportunity to directly impact guest satisfaction and team performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of room attendants and public area attendants to maintain guest rooms, meeting rooms, bathrooms and public spaces to hotel standards.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Management team to ensure standards are met and guest satisfaction is maximized.
• Model a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor and support team members to deliver a positive guest experience.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in Housekeeping, preferably as a supervisor
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in Hospitality Housekeeping preferred
• Experience in caring for guests in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, pull and push moderate weights
• Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
