Packer - 3rd Shift Job at Utz Quality Foods, Inc in Algona

Tim's Cascade Snacks, a subsidiary of UTZ Quality Foods, is looking to expand our dedicated, customer-focused team. We are currently recruiting for a Packer position for our manufacturing facility in Algona, WA.

As a Packer, the responsibilities include ensuring the correct number of acceptable bags are placed in boxes, stacking on pallets or conveyors, and palletizing finished products for shipment.

This position operates on 3rd Shift, Monday-Friday, from 10:30 PM to 6:15 AM, with some Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate computer labels with accurate code date information.
• Assemble cardboard boxes and affix labels for packaging.
• Inspect bags for proper weight, air, seal integrity, graphics, and code dates.
• Ensure the correct number of acceptable bags per case and proper packaging methods.
• Stack finished products on conveyor or pallets according to specifications.
• Rework products as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

Job Requirements:

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience in a food processing facility preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under constant production pressure.
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 12 pounds.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Starting pay rate: $19.22 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential for third shift.
