Join Our Team as a 3rd Shift Yard Spotter - Albion, Indiana

The position is on the 3rd shift, Monday – Friday from 10 PM to 6 AM with competitive pay, great benefits, and room to advance. Location: Albion, Indiana. Compensation: Pay Rate: $25.68 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from dock doors, staging areas, and designated parking locations within the yard.
• Ensure proper placement and secure attachment of trailers at loading docks.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and report any issues.
• Communicate with warehouse personnel and drivers to coordinate trailer movements.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer locations and movements.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate yard truck and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Schedule

• Shifts: 3rd Shift (Monday – Friday, 10 PM – 6 AM)
• Employment type: Full-time

Qualifications

• Required Years of Experience: 3 years
• Class A CDL
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work without constant supervision and be self-motivated
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• High degree of quality workmanship and detail-oriented
• Proven time management skills with the ability to work overtime as needed
• Observes safety procedures and maintains good work ethic and attendance
