Job Description Summary

**Position is on 3rd shift. Hours will be 8:45pm to 6:45am.

Under direct supervision, performs routine activities including preparing job sites, ensuring safety, transporting materials, using power tools, building temporary structures, and collaborating with plant workers. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for production of specified quantity at minimum cost and according to schedule.
• Maintain production, quality, and waste records.
• Ensure conformity with quality standards and minimize product defects.
• Monitor quality tests for conformance to standards.
• Report faulty equipment, machinery, safety issues immediately.
• Maintain equipment and work area in sound condition, assist in paper hanging.
• Assist in all production set-ups.
• Recommend improvements for continuous improvement.
• Follow safety habits and company policies.
• Communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Confer with team members to set work schedules.
• Train new or existing employees.
• Bale waste.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks (preferred).
• Maintain Line Boards and participate in Gemba Walks.
• Perform dust control measures.
• Use measuring devices such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills

• Basic communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Operational knowledge of equipment and machinery.
• Willingness to learn statistical process control, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Physical Demands

• Medium work involving pushing/pulling objects over 100 pounds with equipment.
• Ability to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and sitting involved.

Compensation Range:

$17.55 - $26.30, with typical starting wages between $18.50 to $19.50. Compensation may vary based on market data, experience, and location. The position may be eligible for a short-term incentive.
