Job Summary:

Operators must be highly safety conscious, quality focused, proficient and accurate using tape measures, mechanically inclined, and experienced in computerized reporting.

There will be a $1/hr shift differential for 3rd shift.

Job Duties:

1. Maintain a clean and orderly work area
2. Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety policies and procedures and reporting unsafe conditions and incidents
3. Maintain company's quality standards
4. Run the job by starting the machines, monitoring the production, and running the number of sets specified on the slitting ticket
5. Properly label all rolls produced
6. Prepare entries into AS400 of data collected
7. Adjust the machine during the run and respond to problems found during visual inspection
8. Review the packing specifications in the computer system to ensure customer specifications are met
9. Inspect film daily for defects
10. Transport material and finished products to the appropriate location
11. Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED; one to three years of experience preferred
2. Ability to work at a fast pace
3. Ability to multi-task and read production tickets
4. Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
5. Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometer
6. Must be computer literate
7. Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
8. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods
