Our client in Plainfield, NJ, is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisorfor a direct-hire position.

Pay range: $20 – 30 DOE
Hours: 11:45 pm to 9 am

The 3^rd Shift Production Supervisor is responsible foroverseeing the daily operations of the department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. The supervisor also plays a key role in troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and train manufacturing employees.Ensuring proper procedures and safety rules are followed.
• Lead, train, and coach molding machine operators and technicians.
• Promote teamwork, respect, and a high-performance culture.

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues.Minimizing downtime and optimizing production efficiency.
• Coordinate mold changes, start-ups, and shutdowns.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality systems, and company policies.
• Work collaboratively with maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering teams.
• Maintain and enforce safe working conditions.

• Identify equipment improvements/repairs and initiate work orders.

Requirements:

• Manufacturing experience
• Hands-on experience required
• Prior supervisory experience with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and mechanical aptitude skills
• Injection Molding experience
• Process experience
• Excellent coaching and delegating skills
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Quality Control experience preferred
• Good verbal and written communication skills
