VIP Staffing is hiring: Machine Operator - 3rd shift in Los Lunas

Overview

Immediately hiring an entry level Machine Operator for a large company in Belen, NM.

Schedule and Pay

Shift is Mon-Fri 11pm - 7:30am (overtime & weekends as required).

Pay is $18.00/hr.

Machine Operator Duties

• Operate packaging machinery.
• Run machines for sealing packets, loading paper or packaging materials, ultrasonic sealing equipment, and other production line machinery.
• Monitor product quality, inspecting output visually for defects or inconsistencies, before and during production runs.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and quality of finished goods.
• Report defects and machine issues to supervisors.
• Keep track of quantities, order specifics, labeling, batch or lot information.
• Lift and move materials (lifting up to ~30-50 lbs.).
• Load materials (paper, packaging material) into machines.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.

Requirements

• Seeking at least 6 months experience in production and machine operating.
• High school Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Math & Computer skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Ability to read/write and comprehend English.
