Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor – 3 rd Shift (Hours: 9pm-5:30am) will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our food manufacturing plant. This role requires a strong leader with excellent technical skills, the ability to manage a team, and a commitment to ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency.

Core Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on production equipment and machinery.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to ensure minimal downtime and efficient production processes.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
• Train and develop maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and skill enhancement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history and spare parts inventory.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to create a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with the procurement department to source and purchase necessary spare parts and supplies.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Maintenance Lead/Supervisor experience required
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with vendors-setting up and managing in plant
• Depth of knowledge in electrical and mechanical
• CMMS experience preferred
• SAP experience or other large ERP experience preferred
• Project management skillset is a benefit
• Strong personal safety experience
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Food manufacturing experience is a big plus, but not required
