Position

Physician

We are seeking a qualified primary care physician to join our concierge-style practice in North Augusta, South Carolina. This unique practice emphasizes preventive medicine, offering comprehensive screenings, advanced diagnostics, and individualized wellness plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a specified patient population within a concierge-style practice.
  • Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assessed medical conditions.
  • Refers patients to specialists and to relevant patient care components as appropriate.
  • Trains and supervises medical students and residents engaged in specialty activities and procedures, as appropriate.
  • May manage the daily operations of a specific medical program, patient care unit, or research function.
  • Directs and coordinates the patient care activities of nursing and support staff as required.
  • Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
  • As appropriate to the position, participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

License/Certification: Active and unrestricted nationwide medical license or certification; Board certified or Board eligible in Family or Internal Medicine; Federal DEA Certification.

Experience: Medical doctor with three to five years of directly related experience, which may include residency in a related medical specialty. Strong working knowledge of the clinical needs and disease processes for the chronically ill population.

  • Knowledge of general health care practices, office workflows, and medical terminology.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be directly accountable for assignments.
  • Strong computer and EMR skills.

Work Details

Work Setting: On-site

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Weekdays with evening and weekend availability by telephone.

Compensation: Market competitive base pay, commensurate with education and experience.
