Responsibilities include:

• Accurately select medications for dispensing and ensure timely delivery.
• Answer calls with proper etiquette and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Compound sterile products using aseptic techniques.
• Maintain proficiency with departmental systems and perform basic calculations.
• Participate in process improvements and perform duties related to Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
• Complete mandatory training and licensing independently.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Previous pharmaceutical or healthcare experience (preferred).
• Certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• Licensed as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern in Indiana, with certification required within 2 years of hire.
