We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $35.00 Hourly.

Responsibilities

• Perform drafting duties including preparation, maintenance and updating of an industrial Nuclear Power Station documentation including Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical circuits and prints, station and standard drawings, maps, charts and graphic arts.
• Prepare, maintain and update P&ID, circuit and one-line diagrams, prints and charts.
• Work with other department personnel to obtain and verify information needed to produce detailed drawings from designer and engineer sketches for circuit drawings and one-lines.
• Create and update drawings manually and through the use of computer aided drafting system.
• Maintain computer aided drafting system in operational condition.
• Perform freehand and mechanical pencil and ink lettering for drawings, posters and prints.
• Retrieve and issue original drawings from records management and reproduce maps.
• Draft mechanical, electrical and civil construction drawings and updates-controlled drawings from designer and field sketches.
• Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Required Highschool Diploma or Equivalency
• Preference for Associate Degree in Drafting/Design
• Minimum 3+ years of experience
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel). Electrical background preferred; a combination of Electrical with Civil and Mechanical experience will be considered
• Prior hands-on experience as a design draftsman using drafting tools
• Experience interpreting construction estimates and technical documents (drawings and diagrams)
• Solid MicroStation/AutoCAD skills (CADD)
• Good math skills and ability to perform basic calculations
