Job Description

Summary: Responsible for assisting with vehicle movement, giving shuttle rides, and performing valet pickups and drop-offs while maintaining the dealership’s appearance and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Give shuttle rides and perform valet pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
• Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage (walk around).
• Moves and parks vehicles on the dealership premises to maintain flow of traffic.
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Keeps the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.
• Provides excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Retrieves customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; waits at vehicle for customer and thanks customers for their business.
• Installs disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
• Assists with loaner vehicles and keeping the shop clean.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically able to drive and move vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with shuttle driving and/or valet pickups and drop-offs.

Compensation (Hourly):

• $17.00 / hour

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• 5x days a week / 2x days off
• Sundays off
• Saturday availability required
