Responsibilities

• Provide service and maintenance for aircraft systems, powerplant, airframe and components.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, parts replacement and repair, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure punctuality and reliability to meet flight schedules.
• Work in a team environment, collaborating professionally with co-workers.
• Be prepared to work outdoors, in various weather conditions, and handle the physical aspects of hands-on maintenance.
• Participate in initial and recurrent training in technical areas, ethics and compliance.
• With experience, opportunity to move into roles such as management, inspection, quality control, fleet planning and others.
• Potential to transfer to other locations within United’s network after gaining seniority.
• Be available for any shift within a 24/7 operation, including weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work on larger, sophisticated aircraft with United.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; able to receive and provide support to colleagues.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet flight schedules.
• Willingness to work outdoors and perform hands-on maintenance; readiness to get dirty as part of the job.
