MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduation from a standard senior high school, or successful completion of the GED test, trade school or apprenticeship in electrical work, and at least one year of journeyman level electrical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a Journeyman Electrician certificate from the Board of Electrical Examiners; Mobile Area Water and Sewer System requires a Master Electrician certificate. Must have a valid driver’s license. A commercial driver’s license with appropriate endorsements may be required.
