Position Summary: The night auditor performs an audit of the business day's transactions. Audit duties include running all daily reports and checking for accuracy, auditing all payment types, completing all end-of-day reports, and rolling the report date to the next business day. In addition to duty leader responsibilities, the Night Auditor will perform all traditional Front Desk Clerk duties including checking guests in and out, tendering sales from The Market, making and confirming reservations, answering calls, responding to guest requests, serving as manager on duty, entering maintenance work orders, preparing daily shift reports, training and overseeing relief auditors, and attending needed meetings and training sessions. As manager on duty, the Night Auditor will learn hotel fire, health, and emergency procedures and be prepared to implement these policies. Overnight duty managers coordinate with private security to ensure guest service and safety standards. This is a designated position and may be needed to work to ensure campus operations when the university is closed.

Duties/Responsibilities
Perform an audit of the front desk's daily transactions and related duties, including:
- Review and analyze daily audit reports for accuracy and adherence to procedures; audit all payment types.
- Review work for spelling/grammar and policy compliance; recommend revisions.
- Make corrections and adjustments; compile daily summary reports.
- Complete end-of-day reports and roll posting date to the next business day.
- Identify and revise front desk financial handling procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Percentage of time: 60%
Duties/Responsibilities
Serve as manager on duty during your shift:
- Know safety procedures and apply them; coordinate with upper management as needed.
- Lead front desk staff during shift and handle complex guest issues.
- Communicate with Front Desk team and emergency personnel.
- Handle guest issues from arrival to departure; manage special projects and SOPs.

Duties/Responsibilities
Complete all procedures and tasks related to hotel guests with efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer service:
- Check guests in/out; print parking passes and post charges.
- Post charges and payments to guest folios; manage reservations.
- Enter maintenance work orders; contact maintenance if needed.
- Answer phones and assist callers; take messages or transfer calls.
- Assist in developing and implementing guest service initiatives and SOPs; lead projects when assigned.
Percentage of time: 10%
Duties/Responsibilities
Serve as the primary trainer and mentor for relief auditors:
- Maintain training materials and SOPs for the night audit process.
- Provide feedback on trainees to Front Office Managers.

- Participate in all training sessions and meetings.
- Assist hotel team members to meet goals.
