Description

The Night Auditor is responsible for conducting all nightly audit-related duties while providing guest service at the hotel's front desk. Key responsibilities include balancing duties, completing daily paperwork and shift reports, and attending to guest needs such as check-in/check-out, reservations, and inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Proactive thinking, guest security, and creating a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
• Counting cash and maintaining accuracy of the cash drawer at shift start and end.
• Checking the front desk log for issues and special requests.
• Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests.
• Processing guest registrations and payments.
• Preparing express checkout folios.
• Maintaining room status inventory.
• Communicating shift information to relevant staff.
• Maintaining lobby and bathroom cleanliness as needed.
• Ensuring smooth shift transitions by passing on pertinent information.
• Collaborating with hotel departments to ensure high-quality service.
• Answering guest inquiries about hotel services, amenities, and directions.
• Completing shift paperwork and night audit reports daily.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
