The Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District in Omaha, NE is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to provide exceptional overnight service, balance revenue, maintain files, and prepare the system for the next day’s operations.

What will you be doing?

• Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing POS revenue, covers, servers' fees, tips paid out, and settlements.
• Run audit reports from Front Office PMS, credit card system, and POS.
• Make corrections and adjustments; troubleshoot and resolve computer issues during the shift.
• Enter revenue/expenses/allowances into the system to generate daily reports.
• Balance all revenue and settlement accounts nightly; maintain files and reset the system for next day operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Front Office based on department needs.
• Maintain cash handling accuracy and responsibility for the House Bank.
• Other duties as assigned.

What do you bring to the role?

• Willingness to work overnight (3rd shift) with a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous Night Audit experience preferred; prior guest service experience, preferably in hospitality, is required.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Knowledge of accounting operations including accounts receivable/payable and Excel.
• Strong basic math skills and cash handling experience; ability to use a 10-key by touch.
• Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using revenue reporting software.
• Excellent telephone etiquette.
