CSM Corporation is hiring: Night Auditor in Minneapolis

This position is responsible for balancing and closing the previous business day and completing daily financial reports. It manages person-in-charge duties during the overnight shift, including making sound independent decisions and ensuring security protocols are followed. The role involves assisting guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, adhering to CSM high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing the manager-on-duty role during the 3rd shift.
2. Responding to guest needs in a friendly and positive manner.
3. Providing the highest level of service.
4. Processing check-ins and check-outs, verifying billing, creating reservations, and handling special requests.
5. Having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hotel outlets and services.
6. Working independently or in a team to meet guest needs and assisting other departments as necessary.
7. Following the guest service recovery program.
8. Balancing revenue sources and completing financial reports accurately.
9. Handling no-show reservations and preparing financial reports for managerial review.
10. Closing the financial day for the hotel.
11. Utilizing proper selling techniques to maximize room revenues.
12. Monitoring room availability and following booking policies.
13. Upselling rooms and amenities to drive sales and revenue.
14. Handling cash and financial transactions according to CSM procedures.
15. Using equipment properly and adhering to cost controls.
16. Planning and prioritizing work to meet volume requirements.
17. Working on additional projects, stocking supplies, and assisting overnight staff as needed.
18. Following work rules and attending required meetings.
19. Maintaining a clean, safe work environment compliant with regulations.
20. Following procedures for guest and associate incidents and knowing emergency protocols.

Qualifications and Skills: 2+ years of guest service experience, preferably in hospitality; prior night audit or accounting experience preferred; excellent computer, communication, and attention to detail skills; customer-focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds occasionally.

Rate: $20.00 USD per hour
