Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Review all guaranteed arrivals and verify credit card validity.
  2. Ensure rooms (day use) are marked as dirty for housekeeping.
  3. Explain and provide promotional items to guests checking in.
  4. Explain hotel amenities such as breakfast, spa, fitness center, voicemail, etc.
  5. Document new commercial customer check-ins for potential account opening.
  6. Inquire about blocked rooms and coordinate with maintenance to resolve issues.
  7. Ensure rollaway beds and cribs are correctly documented.
  8. Respond promptly to guest inquiries or complaints.
  9. Offer alternative solutions if guest demands cannot be met.
  10. Assist in other hotel areas as needed.
  11. Document guest accidents with an accident report form.
  12. Complete maintenance logs for reported complaints.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
  14. Greet guests warmly and professionally.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Previous hospitality experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience with cash handling, credit card procedures, and math skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel layout, amenities, procedures, and local area.
  • Knowledge of local geography, businesses, services, highways, community events, and attractions.
