Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned. PT T- F 6:30 - 11:30, S 7:30 - 16:30

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages.
• Ensure shipments conform to FedEx service standards and provide related customer service functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

• High school diploma or GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs; ability to maneuver packages heavier than 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials as required by FMCSA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tuesday through Friday 6:30am to 11:30am, Saturdays 7:30am to 4:30pm

Pay and Benefits

• Pay: Current Hourly Rate $24.31; Pay Range Over Time $24.31-33.72
