Certified Group is a leading North American provider of laboratory testing, regulatory consulting, and certification & audit services. We include Food Safety Net Services (FSNS), FSNS Certification & Audit, Certified Laboratories, EAS Consulting Group, and Labstat International Inc. We provide analytical testing and regulatory guidance in the food & beverage, dietary supplements & NHP, cosmetics, OTC, personal care, tobacco, nicotine, cannabis, and hemp industries. This role supports the safe and efficient delivery of food samples to our laboratory testing facility and requires providing exceptional customer service to clients while operating a company vehicle.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 6am to 11am.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with maintenance of a company facility according to established schedules
• Follow the Company Driving Policy, as well as all applicable state and federal driving laws
• Adhere to proper accident reporting procedures according to company policy
• Provide Excellent Customer Service Satisfaction at the point of pick-up
• Ensure safe and timely transport of the food products to our laboratory
• Operate the vehicle in a safe manner and drive defensively to prevent injuries and property damage
• Work closely with laboratory management and staff
• Drive vehicles with reasonable prudence to conserve fuel and sustain them at the highest operating efficiency
• Present the vehicle for repair, service, or adjustment when needed and perform preventative maintenance when due
• Perform activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner
• Assist with managing priorities and schedule to achieve individual and team goals with the Food Safety Net Services Team
• Complete assigned FDA Collections and Photo Report for samples from warehouses/freezers
• Ensure the safety of oneself and others in the work area
• Complete required training

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D
• 2 years of professional driving experience preferred
• Training in general laboratory practices
• Current, valid driver’s license issued in the state of operation
• Driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations or accidents within the past 60 months
• Demonstrated professionalism, dependability and initiative
• Basic knowledge of concepts and practices of a testing laboratory preferred
