Courier/DOT Job at Federal Express Corporation in Lenexa

Work Schedule: Tuesday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM, and Saturday, 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Position Overview: Driver/operator of company vehicles responsible for courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and performs related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education: High school diploma/GED. Must hold a valid license for the vehicle type assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in FMCSA section 391 and pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
• Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to inquiries and directions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pay Transparency: $21.24 per hour

Additional Details: Work hours are Tuesday to Friday, 5:30 AM - 11:30 PM, and Saturday, 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
