Overview
Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Location and Schedule
Greeley, CO. FT, Tues-Fri 0700-1900, Sat 0800-1700.
Minimum Education
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance since customer contact is required.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations. Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Medical exam required.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
Preferred Qualifications
Tuesday through Friday sometime between 7:00am and 7:00pm, Saturdays 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Pay and Benefits
Pay: Current Hourly Rate is: $21.24; Pay Range Over Time is: $21.24-32.19. The compensation information reflects the minimum and maximum ranges for the role. The company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential.
