What UPS Casual Package Delivery Drivers do: they drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of varying sizes to homes and businesses. They are active, customer-focused drivers who work in a fast-paced environment outdoors and behind the wheel.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Drive with safety and efficiency to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; license type varies by state).
- Pass the DOT physical.
- Excellent customer service and driving skills.
- Legal right to work in the U.S.
- Casual package delivery drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform.
Employment details
- Full-time casual package delivery drivers work eight to ten hours per day; workdays can vary (Monday - Friday) or (Tuesday - Saturday) depending on business needs.
- Base pay for this position is $23.00/hour.
