Base pay range: $45,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

Position Summary

As a Fitness Manager at Anytime Fitness, your primary responsibility is to help all members “get to a healthier place.” In addition to personally training clients, your role is to coach and develop the trainers for success. You will coach in areas such as programming, sales, and service, serve as a guidance counselor for members, an educator and mentor for training staff, and a strategist for the Club Director. You will manage the Member Onboarding Process, conduct fitness consultations, determine appropriate resources for each member, and maintain a high retention score to ensure ongoing member engagement. Your main focus is leading the fitness department as a sales manager and team leader, driving productivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall production of the Club’s Fitness Program
• Ensure members’ needs are met and provide exceptional customer service
• Conduct fitness consultations and assessments
• Promote and market personal training to acquire and retain members
• Assist in the development and implementation of club programs and events
• Participate in staff meetings and required activities
• Lead by example and promote a healthy lifestyle
• Maintain a positive attitude when working with members
• Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
• Dress professionally according to the current dress code standards (Anytime Fitness attire provided)

Qualifications

• Three fitness certifications, including a Certified Personal Training certificate from accrediting bodies such as NASM, NSCA, ACSM, WITS, AFFA, ACE, ISSA, or a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Demonstrated progressive success within the fitness environment
• Previous management experience
