Overview

The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for delivering a high-quality, safe, and effective class experience to members. The instructor conducts Crunch group fitness classes according to brand standards, engaging with members to build community and connection while providing expert instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe and effective instruction during all classes.
• Help members achieve their goals by offering a variety of class types and formats.
• Respond with care to member concerns regarding classes.
• Accurately track class attendance.
• Participate in weekly emails, monthly Zoom meetings, and quarterly onsite training.
• Engage with the instructor portal and social media for updates and promotions.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching classes for all levels.
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification (AFAA, ACE, NASM preferred).
• CPR/AED certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to create a high-energy class environment.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 10 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand, bend, and squat frequently.
• Capability to climb and hang decorations when needed.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports directly to the Group Fitness Coordinator.
• Works with the gym team.
