About Us:

Hardware Strength & Conditioning is an inclusive, community-based gym located in the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming environment where people of all backgrounds and fitness levels can thrive.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a certified Group Fitness Instructor to lead high-energy group classes one time per week. The instructor will be responsible for teaching a 1-hour HIIT class immediately followed by a 45-minute Core class every Sunday, as well as programming for both classes. The ideal candidate will bring energy, motivation, and a passion for helping individuals reach their fitness goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead engaging HIIT and Core group classes in a safe and effective manner

• Program weekly workouts for both HIIT and Core classes (Sunday sessions)

• Provide modifications and progressions for participants of varying fitness levels

• Ensure proper form and technique while maintaining a supportive atmosphere

• Build strong connections with members and foster community within the gym

• Maintain a clean and organized workout space

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of experience instructing or teaching group fitness (Required)
