We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Fitness Concierge to join our Pier Sixty-Six Club team!

Reporting to the Director of Health & Wellness, you will:

  • Keep the Club Fitness and Resort Gym in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness of machines, floors, locker rooms, and Fitness storage.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the lobby entrance and other common areas; ensure public spaces in Villa III Club center and Resort Gym are fully stocked with amenities (towels, beverages, etc.) and that saunas, fitness equipment, coffee machine, and other amenities are working properly.
  • Dust all surfaces including furniture, fixtures, and electronics.
  • Remove trash and place in designated areas.
  • Wipe and sanitize high-touch areas.
  • Maintain toilets, sinks, and shower/tub areas.
  • Wipe mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Vacuum carpets or rugs, sweep and mop hard floors.
  • Replace used bathroom toiletries and remove soiled towels/terry; replace with clean.
  • Keep amenities stocked in the locker rooms and monitor inventory for restocking needs.
  • Frequently walk the fitness floor to clean equipment and assist members and guests when needed.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down fitness classes and events in the Club and the Resort under supervision of the fitness trainer.
  • Communicate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure rapid and efficient resolutions.
  • Assist with other tasks as required to ensure optimum service to guests.
  • Follow the lost & found hotel policies.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing ≤25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality management or related field education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling, as well as requirements and use of equipment is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively, or as part of a team.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written; provide legible communication.
  • Physical mobility and stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
