Job Posting Title: Forklift Driver

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment for shipping, receiving, and picking.
• Load/unload, scan, move, stage, replenish, and stack product.
• Count and inspect product; notify leadership of damages or discrepancies.
• Meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality; comply with corporate and site-specific policies.
• Perform shipping, receiving, and picking duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate equipment such as sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, (and related equipment) safely and efficiently; conduct routine maintenance and report issues; maintain active forklift certification.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area; comply with safety protocols and OSHA/MSDS standards.
• Assist in maintenance of facilities, grounds, and equipment as assigned.
• Work overtime as required by business needs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• None

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (MHE).
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training program.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures (warmer and/or colder months).
• Basic computer skills; RF scanners; WMS functions.
• English language skills (reading, writing, verbal).
• Attention to detail; ability to work with minimal supervision; adaptability to change; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience and forklift experience preferred; current or prior MHE certification preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Occasionally: Handling/fingering, sitting; Bending
• Frequently: Walking and standing
• Constantly: Ability to lift/carry 21-50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat or kneel

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The role may involve exposure to limited fumes or airborne particles; noise level typically low to moderate.
