Loads trailers based on drop data manually or with forklift in an efficient manner to maximize trailer space without damaging product
Location: 4005 Newpoint Pl, Lawrenceville, GA 30043
Shift: Hiring Immediately!
1st shift: Mon-Fri 5:30AM-2:00PM
Pay: Starting at $22.00
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to load/unload, lift, move, place, stack raw materials and doors; navigate throughout plant, including populated and small areas.
- Load trailers based on drop data while maximizing space and ensuring product safety.
- Read/interpret schedules, tickets, and shipping documents; verify accuracy of product being loaded with load requests (sizes, piece counts, etc.).
- Direct work of warehouse attendants and operators to efficiently expedite loading and unloading of materials.
- Staging process and truck/trailer loading procedures.
- Ensure complete and accurate loading and storage of merchant products.
- Sort product to maximize trailer space.
- Locate, check, and verify product against load requests.
- Perform safety procedures and adhere to forklift safety standards.
- Maintain knowledge of door and core types, packaging procedures, and MasterPak systems and scanners.
- Support other departments as needed to meet production and shipping goals.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Forklift knowledge and safety procedures

- Forklift operating skills to load/unload, lift, move, place, stack raw materials and doors, navigate throughout plant
- Read/interpret schedules/tickets/shipping documents
- Sorting and staging to maximize trailer space
- Safe handling and stacking requirements
- Strong attention to accuracy in loading and documentation
Qualifications
- Previous Forklift Certification
- Strong knowledge of door types preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and write English with proficiency
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Moderate knowledge of door/customer quality specs, pull placards and load list details
- Strong knowledge in door packaging procedures
- Must be flexible to help other departments as needed
