Overview

IRH is seeking skilled forklift mechanics to join our team. IRH specializes in rigging, machinery moving, millwright, heavy transportation, logistics, warehousing, trans-loading, packaging, and asset recovery services. IRH offers a competitive salary and outstanding benefits.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly skilled and complex mechanical repairs on both light and heavy forklifts.
• Inspect forklifts, analyze, troubleshoot, and plan sequence of repair operations.
• Adjust or repair hydraulic, fuel and electrical systems and components.
• Test, and identify worn and damaged parts.
• Test, repair or install electrical systems and components.
• Test, repair or install hydraulic systems and components.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Test drive to diagnose or verify corrections made.
• Perform state and federal safety inspections.
• Complete daily paperwork and repair orders.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience with forklift maintenance.
• Self-motivated, capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Must have a complete set of tools.
• Must have knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Must be able to pass physical abilities test and a drug screen upon hire as well as random periodic screenings.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Must have a clean driving record and be 21 years old or older for insurability purposes.
