Overview

Heavy Equipment Technician – Full-Time
First American Resources – Mableton, GA 30126. This is an in-person position. Applicants must be able to commute to this location.

First American Resources is currently seeking a self-motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our Maintenance Team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a desire for a long-term career with an industry-leading company. This is a full-time, hands-on position focused on maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical equipment, including forklifts, vehicles, and man-lifts.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair mechanical equipment, vehicles, and forklifts
• Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems
• Conduct inspections and make recommendations for repairs or replacements
• Operate diagnostic instruments and various power tools
• Perform data entry into maintenance software to track repairs and PMs
• Keep work areas and tools clean and organized
• Assist with minor building and facility maintenance
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Must be dependable and maintain regular attendance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to maintain a professional image

Schedule

• Day Shift Monday to Friday Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
