• Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operator in Mt Sterling, Kentucky

Pay and Schedule

• Hourly Pay: $19.25 per hour
• Additional Pay: $0.50 per hour when working 3rd shift
• Schedule: Third Shift 9:00pm to 5:30am – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday (Off Wednesday and Thursday)

• Equipment Used: Stand-up High Reach Forklift

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to work within a diverse work environment
• Professional relationships with peers, work groups, customers, and supervisors
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• Initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Flexible schedule across various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during production shifts
• Other duties as assigned
