Forklift Operator: Glendale Job at Staff Up America in Glendale

Our Glendale client is seeking a full time warehouse associate on a temp – hire contract. Job duties:

• Order picking and order fulfillment.
• Use of UPS-type scanners and RF devises
• Operation of pallet jack
• Operation of forklift and forklift/cherry picker
• Adhere to all mandatory safety protocol
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Help co-workers wherever and whenever needed during the work shift.

The right candidate will need the following skills:

• The ability to work comfortable at heights of up to 25 feet above the ground. This person will be operating a forklift/cherry picker which raises and lowers to the shelving heights allowing the operator to pick the products needed to fulfill the orders. The employee wears a full safety harness which is secured above to the safety hook on the cherry picker.
• Lift up to 50lbs, though much of the product being handled are small packages
• The ability to stand or walk the entire shift
• The ability to read a work order and fill that order with specified product
