Position: Forklift Operator

Location: Tacoma, WA

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts and chainsaws to handle and cut materials efficiently.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and uphold safety standards.
• Foster teamwork and contribute to personal and team growth.
• Manage inventory, support storage, cleaning, and other tasks.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns.
• Stay adaptable to job demands.

Qualifications:

• 1-4 years of forklift and machinery experience.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of lumber products.
• Ability to deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work.
• English proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Clean background and valid driver’s license.
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to fumes, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, outdoor weather conditions, and noisy environments.

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay: $20-21/hr DOE

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
