Overview

The Insulator role would involve removing, repairing and installing insulation on pipes, ducting, tanks, vessels and boilers.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge to measure and estimate required footage and type of material needed for projects.
• Proficient in basic skills of cutting, fitting and installing heavy duty industrial pipe insulation.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of insulation materials, supports, moisture barriers, jackets and blankets.
• Knowledge of various methods used to install and repair insulation.
• Possess current knowledge of insulation and craftsman practices.
• Ability to safely work at heights and operate man and scissor lifts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years\' insulation experience
